Diablo IV beta details
Diablo IV is just around the corner, and as we approach the game’s release, Blizzard is unveiling crucial details about the open betas. You’ll find all the essential information on Blizzard’s website, but we’ve summarized the key points for you here.
The early access open beta will run from March 17th to 20th, and it’s open to those who have preordered the game or made sacrifices to the divine chicken overlords. Early access participants can begin downloading the beta at 12 PM ET on March 15th.
For those holding off on purchasing Diablo IV, the general open beta will take place from March 24th to 27th. The download becomes available at 12 PM ET on March 22nd.
Both betas will let you explore the game’s prologue and first act, leveling up to 25. The early access beta grants access to three classes: Rogue, Barbarian, and Sorcerer, while the general open beta adds Druid and Necromancer to the roster. Keep in mind that story progress carries over to the full game launching on June 6th, but all characters will be deleted. To soften the blow, Blizzard is offering unique rewards, such as a charming dog backpack, to players who achieve specific milestones during the beta.
Couch and four-player online co-op will be available for both weekends, and those seeking a formidable challenge with friends can battle the world boss, Ashava, at designated times.
March 18th at 10 AM, 12 PM, 10 PM, and midnight PT
March 25th at 10 AM, 12 PM, 10 PM, and midnight PT
