The Necromancer is the final class in Diablo IV, renowned for their summoning abilities and raising corpses to fight alongside them in battle. Necromancers can wield a range of weapons, including swords, daggers, wands, and the exclusive Scythes. Diablo IV’s Necromancer resembles Diablo III’s Necromancer, using the Essence resource to activate powerful skills and the Corpses resource created from fallen enemies or other spell effects. The fan-favorite Corpse Explosion is also available!

Necromancers have four distinct playstyles: Bone, Darkness, Blood, and The Army. Bone skills focus on dealing physical damage while consuming Essence, with notable spells like Bone Prison. Darkness skills deal damage over time, ideal for torturing foes. Blood skills allow Necromancers to become vampiric, restoring their life by absorbing enemy HP and gaining their strength. The Army playstyle involves resurrecting skeletons and constructing golems.

The Necromancer’s unique class mechanic, the Book of the Dead, allows for further customization of undead armies, such as Skeleton Warriors, Skeleton Mages, and Golems. Skeleton Warriors can become high-damage Skirmishers or tank-like Defenders. Additionally, players can ‘Sacrifice’ specific minions to gain a permanent buff to enhance their build.

If you’re interested in summoning armies of undead to efficiently vanquish enemies, the Necromancer is undoubtedly the ideal class for you!
