Welcome to our page dedicated to the legendary game Diablo II! Developed by Blizzard North and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2000, this dark fantasy-themed action role-playing game quickly became a fan favorite. Available for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS, the game takes on a hack and slash or “dungeon roaming” style, perfect for those who love a good adventure.

Continuing the storyline from the first game, the player follows in the path of Diablo who heads eastward from Tristram to free his two imprisoned brothers Mephisto and Baal. Unlike the first game, which took place mostly underground, Diablo II features many outdoor regions ranging from desert to jungle and eventually hell itself.

With five new characters, each with 30 unique skills, a larger array of monsters and items, and a more fleshed out story and world, Diablo II became one of the most popular online games ever. Players enjoyed the addictive hack and slash gameplay and free access to Battle.net, which made multiplayer gameplay via LAN over TCP/IP or Battle.net extremely popular.

By April 2001, Diablo II had become one of the top thirty best selling computer games ever, with the Diablo series selling a total of 17 million copies. An expansion to Diablo II, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, was released in 2001. The expansion finished the story arc begun in Diablo II as the player kills Baal, the last surviving Prime Evil, and offers new content such as a brand new act, two new classes, a new rune word mechanic, new monsters and items, as well as various minor additions and fixes.

We hope you enjoy exploring the world of Diablo II and all it has to offer!
